Criminal Street Gangs - Update 2008
This 1-2 day course is designed for uniformed patrol officers, corrections officers, or investigators who need the basic elements of street gang identification and eradication techniques. In this course our instructors will provide an overview of the history, mentality, current trends, signs and symbols of the most commonly encountered criminal street gangs. This in your face seminar offers students the tools to identify gangs and tactics to stay alive on the streets.
*This course is also offered in a customized format for school employees, security forces (mall, fair, skate parks, housing units, etc.) and anyone working with youth involved in street gangs. (click for a course information request)

Criminal Street Gangs - Advanced Suppression Approach (certified positions only)
This 1-3 day course is designed for gang unit members, frontline patrol officers, investigators or the correction officers who have the basic knowledge and experience with street gangs. This course will outline the underlying issues related to gangs and assist you in working with your administration to eliminate the denial of gang existence in your community. Instructors will offer a hands-on approach introducing proven techniques that will combat the suppression of street gang activity in your community. This seminar will discuss gang abatement issues, citizen contacts, racial profiling, and tactical operations used to combat gangs. In addition, this course will provide strategies to vigorously target, investigate, prosecute and prevent resurgence of criminal street gangs. (click for a course information request)
